Can the priest pour the Precious Blood into other chalices after the consecration?
The short answer
No. Several chalices may be used if one is not enough, but pouring the Blood of Christ from one vessel to another after the consecration is to be completely avoided.
Redemptionis Sacramentum (105-106) says that if one chalice is not enough for Communion under both kinds, there is no reason the celebrant should not use several; it is praiseworthy, for the sign value, to use one main larger chalice with smaller ones.
But pouring the Blood of Christ from one vessel to another after the consecration is to be completely avoided, lest anything happen to the detriment of so great a mystery. Flagons, bowls and other vessels not fully in accord with the established norms must never be used to hold the Blood of the Lord.
